Welcome to a new, fast, comfortable fishing charter boat, Cool Change Fishing Charters. The Cool Change "works" the waters of the Middle Florida Keys, offshore or bayside of Marathon, Florida. Our fishing charter boat, the Cool Change, is available for half day or full day excursions, plus sunset fishing and when in season, tarpon excursions. Our fishing boat is fully equipped with top of the line Fin Nor fishing reels, custom made (in Marathon, Fl) fishing rods, the bait, fishing licenses, ice and drinking water. Plus, Captain Walker will clean your fish!
Speaking of Captain Walker. He is a young fella, born and raised in Marathon, Florida, and from a family that make their livelihood from fishing. Captain Walker loves to fish and he is a natural born fisherman. Walker's knowledge of the local hot spots, ensures every possible advantage for a prosperous day of fishing on the Cool Change. With an easy going nature, Captain Walker enjoys himself whenever he takes his fishing party out to fish these Florida Keys' waters, and wants everyone to have a great time - he loves to "show off" the beautiful Florida Keys waters and our variety of fish species; and in addition, the marine wildlife such as turtles, manatees, dolphin; and in the air - our Florida Keys wild birds such as pelicans, the majestic frigate birds , great white herons, fish hawks, eagles, and endless gulls and terns.
Cool Change fishing charter boat has a head (bathroom) with a fresh water shower. A small round table with comfortable cushion seating, and a place to have your lunch. The V-berth on the Cool Change is air conditioned and is padded with covered cushions. The twin 4 stroke Yamaha engines are very quiet and fuel efficient. The Cool Change uses a variety of bait - live small bait-fish and crabs, mullet for tarpon fishing, and rigged baits for trolling.
